About the Role:
The Artist Salon is looking for an experienced and passionate Hair Trainer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise in hair services and the ability to train, mentor, and evaluate salon professionals.
This role involves conducting practical and theoretical training sessions for hairstylists across our salon network and ensuring consistent service quality and technical standards.

What you will do
- Conduct training sessions for hairstylists and salon teams.
- Train staff in haircuts, styling, blow-drying, coloring, highlighting, smoothening, keratin, straightening, and other professional hair services.
- Demonstrate advanced hair techniques through practical sessions.
- Evaluate the technical skills and performance of salon professionals.
- Identify skill gaps and create training plans accordingly.
- Train team members on professional consultation and client handling.
- Educate staff about hair products, tools, equipment, and their correct usage.
- Maintain consistent technical and service standards across salon outlets.
- Conduct assessments and provide constructive feedback to trainees.
- Support new salon openings with staff training and technical preparation.
- Stay updated with current hair trends, techniques, products, and industry developments.
- Coordinate with the management and salon teams regarding training requirements.
What we are looking for
- 3+ years of professional salon experience in hairstyling/hair services.
- Strong expertise in modern hair cutting, styling, coloring, and chemical treatments.
- Previous experience as a Hair Trainer, Senior Hairstylist, Hair Educator, or Technical Trainer will be preferred.
- Excellent practical and communication skills.
- Ability to confidently conduct group and one-on-one training.
- Strong knowledge of professional salon products and equipment.
- Passion for teaching, mentoring, and developing salon talent.
- Willingness to travel to different salon locations for training when required.
